This Privacy Policy explains what information Transxlate (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website and the Transxlate plugin, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
  • Order & billing data: billing name, address and order details when you purchase a plan. Card payments are processed by iyzico; your card number never touches our servers.
  • License data: your license keys and the URLs of the websites you activate them on (used to enforce site limits and serve updates).
  • Support messages: the content of messages you send via our contact form or email.

2. What we do NOT collect

The Transxlate plugin sends your website content directly from your own server to the translation provider you configure (Google or DeepL) using your own API key. Your content and translations are stored in your own database and never pass through or get stored on our servers.

3. How we use information

  • To provide your account, deliver license keys and serve plugin updates.
  • To process payments and send purchase receipts.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To send essential service emails (license delivery, password resets). We do not sell your data or send marketing emails without consent.

4. Cookies

We use the standard WordPress cookies required to keep you signed in to your account. These are strictly functional. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.

5. Third parties

  • iyzico — payment processing (subject to iyzico’s own privacy policy).
  • Google Cloud Translation / DeepL — used by the plugin on your own site, under your own account and API key.

6. Data retention & your rights

We keep account and order data for as long as your account exists or as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time.
