The consent question

Checkbox text like “I agree to the privacy policy” carries legal weight. Machine translation is a fine draft; for EU-facing sites give consent strings and linked policies a human read (legal localization).

Native-language error messages are quiet conversion gold: a user who understands why submission failed retries; one who doesn’t, leaves. Sites localizing the full failure path routinely report double-digit form-completion lifts in non-default languages.
